Unreal Engine 4 recreations are nothing new, however the Star Wars Mos Eisley spaceport project—which comes courtesy of a group of Obsidian developers—is pretty impressive.
Headed by Jason Lewis, a total of 17 devs of varying rank are using the project to learn more about the engine, but of course being self-confessed “super Star Wars nerds” makes the undertaking that bit easier. Speaking to 80.lv, Lewis says he first started out with the desire to craft a three dimensional Millennium Falcon, however things quickly spiralled as the project grew in scope.
Palworld is a runaway success for developer Pocketpair, but creator Takuro Mizobe isn't looking to make triple-A Xbox games anytime soon.
Embark Studios reveals to The Loadout how The Finals Season 2 takes the acclaimed FPS game’s stylish cosmetics to even greater heights.

Other nominees include games like SimCity & Tony Hawk's Pro Skater.
There are some good nominees in this list that are deserving to be inducted also, but I feel Metroid has had the most impact on the industry out of all of these. Look how Metroid influenced the evolution of the Castlevania games, and the "Metroidvania" subgenre of games have become a prevailing force in gaming today. Especially now, Metroidvanias are bigger than ever.
I can very much see Resident Evil being added later too, bc it really did popularize and define the survival horror genre. I would say that one is next in line.
If any Metroid game should get the honor it should be Super Metroid , it's perfection in my eyes . 30 years later and I still feel it's the most epic shit ever .
The GBA remake deserves it or Super Metroid, the original was a very sloppy and rushed game programmed in 3 months and it shows.
If you've never played the remake, it's absolutely a must play, fixes basically every flaw in the game. Check out ExoParadigmGamer's comparison video.
Microsoft, what are waiting for?
Get in contact with Disney (or EA) and make a deal for a exclusive Star Wars RPG game made by Obsidian.
It's money in the bank.
Luckily, whatever that'll be released is obtainable on PC.
I needed to see this. I look forward to what Obsidian can bring to the table with a AAA budget and Microsoft's resources.
Looks great....FOR TWO YEAR OLD NEWS.
Is this being posted to make the obsidian purchase look good for Microsoft?
