Goddamn. Croc in the beginning of April and now Sphinx in the middle? Let's have Tak and the Power of Juju cap off the month for us.

Didn't realize this wasn't on other platforms. It dropped on the Switch about 4 years ago.

One & Done: Games Without Sequels - Part Four

Phil at SPC writes, "Welcome to the return of One & Done, an article series on SPC that talks about games that never became franchises. They were literally one and done! Now, the purpose of these articles isn't to beg for sequels, as some of these games don't need them and not every game needs to become a franchise. Instead, we're just exploring and fondly remembering these terrific titles from generations' past and giving them some more time in the old spotlight."

I also remember Cold Fear. Never wound up buying it but I watched some of the walkthrough years later.

Gun could’ve gone on, but RDR was a tough act to follow.

Early years of the following gen had quite a few one-shots. Heavenly Sword, Lair, Haze, Folklore, Stranglehold. Bah gawd Stranglehold had expensive DLC for its day.

Pure garbage again. They're not even trying. I'd be so pissed if I was subbed to this. So many months in a row now

DeadManMMX1669d ago

At this point gold and everything are folded Into GamePass which is growing in popularity every day. It’s clear that this is being phased out. It doesn’t really make sense to do both. They seem to be using it to spotlight smaller titles now for the most part.

The games are trash. I sub to play online, not to get free game rentals, but it is an added bonus.

What is strange is that you are here criticizing a service you don’t even subscribe to.

DJStotty1668d ago

Well said franwex,

Someone who understands how the service operates.

If you like a game each month, download, if not just play the games you buy and play anyway.

It's like complaining about getting a free car, because it is not a ferrari.

DJStotty1668d ago

@potatoseal

You do not "sub" to this to get the free games, you get these included with a gamepass or gold sub.

I've only played 1 or 2 of the Games With Gold offerings in about a year...and that was for a brief period.

RgR1669d ago

I've played about at least 1 title from each ps plus offering every month and 1 title from the ps now additions.

Quite a stark difference....although it could just be that I'm behind with the games backlog.

DJStotty1668d ago

Or you do not buy games you wait to get them for free?

Merry Christmas from Xbox?

I guess
