Fallout 76 players are helping newbies by acting like NPCs

I'm sure it is, but it's a tough sell in today's climate. There are so many base-building games now that we're spoiled for choice. So not only is Bathesda expecting to nab part of that market with a new title that is visually identical to their last one, but their expecting people to want to leave games were they can build shiny new bases and craft new weapons for a game were you can only construct things out of rusty old junk.
That used to be part of the charm of Fallout games but now it's like trying to sell gramophones at a CES convention.

an MMO without NPCs is an interesting concept, a concept I don't believe Bethesda will pull off the way it needs to be done. I'm not gonna bash on this game cause I dont have any interest in it, but I do hope that others take that concept and create something truly amazing, its the only thing i like about this game
