RPG Vault: Freaky Creatures Peek #4 Preview

RPG Vault writes: "The planet Verdura’s terrifying Rexar species is extremely voracious, even surpassing raptors. These formidable creatures have thick hides that provide armor-like protection against teeth and claws; even bullets can often fail to penetrate. They are particularly worrisome when they go on their annual rampage. Setsa are native to the scorching world of Inferna. Apparently impervious to its withering heat, they are known to swim in molten lava, and to make their homes within rock that has barely solidified. They are famed for their innate quickness, which means they’re exceptionally elusive, and when captured, they’re volatile and thus difficult to control.

In Freaky Creatures, which is aimed to launch early next year, players will train and customize beasts like these to take part in battles against each other. Primarily targeting boys aged eight to 13 plus core gamers, Abandon Interactive Entertainment’s title will be a cross-platform endeavor allowing both PC and mobile users to connect. It will also be unusual in that rather than a normal retail box, the team intends to offer starter bundles with two collectible monster figurines plus a USB key enabling access to create a pet, and including an assortment of body parts, powers and lair decorations."
