Rubin: "Thank you! A lot of games, Call of Duty included just focus on how to make the most money possible out of the player base. They rely heavily on FOMO marketing and EOMM matches. But I feel like it used to be just more about the quality of the game which would drive players to play. And that means making the game more player centric. i.e. less engagement based tactics and higher quality experiences for the players. Better maps, modes etc. In other words your game should have a high player count because it's good and people want to play it rather than people playing it because the game has a $250M marketing budget. Everything is just said is very simplified as it would take too long to really go into it. One last simple analogy. Be more like Larian, less like Activision."
Lol the producer of xdviant a cod clone in every shape and way, including the micro & fomo is piss off his game getting shut down.
Yet you work for another scummy company like Ubisoft that fight to flood single player games with useless battle passes, predatory microtransactions and to take away player ownership of the games they pay for.

An update on EA SPORTS™ WRC.
Dear Rally Community,
Every great journey eventually finds its finish line, and today, we announce that we've reached the end of the road working on WRC.

Weird article written by a bot.
In any case I knew EA would ruin Codemasters.
To me its without a doubt God of war. But I have a feeling that GOTY would be RDR2
God of War by far at the moment.
I am either suffering from open world fatigue, or I'm just not clicking with RDR2... I'm late into Chapter 2 I think, but I'm honestly bored out of my mind! I find the shooting mechanics to be AWFUL, the controls and player movement are clunky beyond belief, and the repetitive animations just to do the simplest of tasks are wearing extremely thin.
I can see the animations of the characters movements, voice acting and audio are top notch, but otherwise I'm just not getting it... Maybe it is because I am early on in the game... I will carry on and see if it changes my mind.
Clearly Sea of Thieves beats all 🤣
I'm absolutely loving RDR2, I don't get all the complaints about the game. It's the most immersive open world game I've ever played. But I have to say God of War for GOTY, because even though RDR2 is very highly polished, GOW innovated and reinvented the game much better.
God of War or RDR 2 seem to be the easy bets. Smash could get some votes once it releases too.
