Skyler from Informed Pixel says: "Today, Nintendo held the final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct before its official release. Expectations of the Nintendo Direct were very high, with leaks pointing towards multiple character reveals and an abundance of new information. With all that said, most of the leaks were undoubtedly false, and that led to disappointment among the Super Smash Bros. Fandom. So what happened?"
Sora might be one of the most hyped guest characters in fighting games, but these other guest characters are no slouch either.
There are plenty of fighting games to rumble in with a Nintendo Switch.
From the multi-man smash to the Subspace Emissary, there are many beloved Super Smash Bros. modes throughout the years.
Ugh leaks kill me. They’re an entirely different industry unto themselves, but they take so much away from the people that work so hard on things.
Fake leaks can definitely hurt the marketing/hype. Here's hoping Banjo and Geno get their due as DLC.
The issue multiple people have with how the final pre-DLC characters were handled, is that the fans are showing more respect to the "leak" characters than Nintendo is. Franchises like Golden Sun and Super Mario RPG are beloved and requested repeatedly, yet we got a Piranha Plant? Why not just make it Petey instead so it's at least a dedicated character (yes it's in the Final Smash but that's not much)?
People believed in those leaks? Lmao
Screw the leaks, my long time SF main made it into the cast, get hype! The talk of Goku being added was pretty cool though however I think that was more of a request than a leak.
