Martin Robinson: "Typical, isn't it? You wait an age for some sugar-soaked drum-based rhythm action games to come to the Switch, and then two land on the very same day. Well, actually I couldn't really wait - I've had Bandai Namco's Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum n' Fun on import since it came out in Japan a few months back, complete with the drum kit that brings this arcade classic alive, while I've spent the past week with Gal Metal, the extreeeeeme rhythm action title that's been ushered into existence by Tak Fuji, star of E3 2010."
Sometimes you just wanna tap to the rhythm of the boogidy beat and this list of music rhythm games on Switch will help you do that.
The Taiko no Tatsujin Switch online versus mode has appeared worldwide via a free patch. Once you update, you can start working up the ranks.
Amazon has further discounted the physical versions of Final Fantasy XV Royal Edition to $14.99 on PS4 and Gal Metal World Tour Edition to $9.99 on Switch.
Couldn’t you say that about the industry as a whole
I'm really looking forward to Katamari on Switch. It's going to be so fun to replay on the go.
I disagree. For one, I don't think we're anywhere close to the golden age (that was PS2). For another, every Switch game of interest to me is available on more powerful consoles. The only exclusive that has my eye (so far) is Fire Emblem: Three Houses.
