Looks like RDR2 is the clear winner
Red dead is more for adults Gta5 online was more for kids
This isn't even a contest …. GTA 5 has more players, made more money, has less of a niche audience This is one of "those" statements that is nothing more than click bait as it has no standings in real life whatso ever !!! besides now a week has past and articles on how much RDR2 sucks so, there's that too
"GTA 5 has more players, made more money, has less of a niche audience" - Well that might be because it's been out for over 5 years. Has nothing to do with being better..
RDR2 is far from niche.
Uuuhhhhhhhh......of course it has more players and made more money. GTAV has been out for years. RDR2 came out literally 5 days ago lol. Let's not forget that before GTAV Online was a thing people were complaining quite a bit about it. It took a while before GTAV became the game it is now.
I don't think it was ever in doubt that GTA V was going to be more commercially successful. It is going to keep breaking records and keep selling. That doesn't make it a better game though.
I enjoy both. They are so not the same.
Yes and no. They both definetly cater to a different market. But gameplay and structure wise, they are very similar.
The obvious answer is yes.
I loved GTA5. One of my favorite games ever. I’m really enjoying RDR2. It’s pretty amazing “in my opinion” but too early for me to tell, gotta finish it.
The two are only comparable because they are from the same studio and have similar elements because of that. I'm interested to see how RDR2 Online plays out. GTA V frustrated me very early online and I didn't really enjoy being spawn trapped all the time when I just wanted to go out and enjoy the game.
RDR2 in detail and scope of the world. GTAV for pacing. Combat is equal for both, very Rockstar gameplay.
Gameplay: GTA Story: RDR Graphics: RDR
Do you find the gameplay clunky & bad?
I do. Well at least the movement and shooting. Something that I'll blame consoles and 30 fps for. Rockstar controls on console are always a little clunky on PC gta5 handles like a dream. But even the gameplay in gta 5 when you want to get from point a to b you have so many options and with traveling being faster everything else happens faster too. Kinda what kills red dead for me it's just slow everything takes a long time from looting a body or dresser to traveling to a destination. I've been wowed enough by the realism I just wanna play maybe once I get fast travel I'll like it more atm though just hanging on to see how the online is
I'm guessing your pick in GTA V v Red Dead 2 is The Witcher 3 lol
RDR 2 but 5 years is a long time to make improvements.
