Remedy's Thomas Puha said that Control won't have a slow paced start like Quantum Break. The developers are also going all out with boss fights and they're making sure Jesse's telekinetic abilities feel as impactful as shooting guns.
Sony kicks off PS Plus' 15th anniversary by chatting with Game File about the past, present and future of its gaming subscription service: Talking price, catalogue tweaks and where the PS3 games are.
Glad, I’m about to downgrade when they raise the price. For me, I don’t really access much or care about the games they have in the library and if I do, it’d be cheaper to just buy them over time rather than stick to some expensive subscription model.
Extra is probably the best value for money right now, Premium doesn't have anything special enough to justify paying the additional imo.
cloud streaming to the portal, without using the ps5, is the selling point of premium to me.
The legendary composer celebrates forty years of game composing with a new collection.
ScribbleCat said: Media is certainly no stranger to connecting all their properties together. Comic books have been doing this for generations, and TV is also known for special crossover episodes, which confirm the notion that they take place in the same fictional world. Video games, which can be barely called a new medium at this point, also have some interesting overlaps with connecting different games. For example, Valve’s Portal and Half-Life show how subtle hints can give players more theories to chew on. Old classics like DOOM and Wolfenstein also share similarities. But my favorite connection between games is the Remedy Connected Universe. While only a connection between Alan Wake and Control have been confirmed, there is SO much more to explore with Remedy’s crazy take on this old formula. And, according to Sam Lake, this is only the beginning.
They really should release the full Quantum Break experience on the PS5. Sure, it's a middle-of-the-road third-person shooter and a perfect example of self-indulgence, but why not? It was fun in short burst and it completes the Remedy set until Max Payne 1+2 Remakes get released later on.
Do it, Microsawft. Don't be cowards.
If they really do want to be like a Metroid game, there has to be a lot of bosses!
I'm really looking forward to this. Might be the closest to a QB sequel we get from Remedy.
I'm also glad MS has ownership to QB, they should let one of their new studios have a go at a sequel. The Initiative perhaps?
Can't wait! Really looking forward to this!
Are they going to release a demo for this?
I loved QB... Hoping Control is just as good
