5 Fall 2018 AAA Releases That Will Probably Lose Players to Red Dead Redemption 2

EB: Rockstar’s Red Dead Redemption 2 is scheduled to hit the PS4 and Xbox One on October 26, which is just two days away from the time of this post’s writing. Based on the popularity of the franchise and Rockstar’s pedigree, I’m predicting that the game’s release will cause a noticeable drop in the player base for five recently released AAA video games. I’m not saying the loss of active players will turn these five games into virtual ghost towns with tumbleweeds blowing through their servers, but I do expect the amount of concurrent players will drop noticeably.
