Carl Williams writes, "SNK fans are hardcore to the max. Especially the ones that supported their Neo Geo console (who else would buy games at $200+ each?). Nothing wrong with that, if you have the money and want to have the very best version of something, why not buy it? Me, I was more of a “pick up the port on Sega Genesis or Super NES” kind of gamer back then. I simply did not have that kind of disposable income, and arcades were a good hour one way from where I lived. Thankfully, over the years we got re-releases such as this – the SNK 40th Anniversary Collection for the Nintendo Switch. Just be prepared as this appears to be all pre-Neo Geo titles."
