10 out of 50 are PS4 exclusive. That's 20% right there. Compared to this there are only 2 Xbox one exclusives ( real exclusive not counting the ones on pc like gears 4 ) and 4 Nintendo switch exclusives.

Outside of a few exceptions of a few lesser known games, this list seems more about most hyped and marketed games of the gen, more than it does about the quality and ranking of the games given. Particularly since many of the games on the list don't have many people saying they were especially great games....maybe good, but far from great.

Yeah, Hollow Knight and Ori are absolutely off the walls amazing. I could see excluding them if someone is making a top 10 list or something and they want to keep it AAA. However they already have smaller/indie games, ramasters of last gen games, and games like Vampyr, Dragon Age: Inquisition, and more.

Hollow Knight is hands down one of the greatest metroidvania games ever made. Excluding it is a huge oversight.

Talk about a trash list. They really disrespected Dragon Quest, Gravity Rush 2, Ratchet and Clank, and most importantly Persona 5. That games one of the best JRPG's and you have Xenoverse 2 but not Persona 5... come on

Lol like they have remastered last gen games on this list but nowhere is Bioshock, Dark Souls 1/2, and Borderlands. Id put the Dark Souls, Boishock, and Borderlands franchise in the top 10 easilly and omit quite a few others. Thank god a list that doesnt have MO or BOTW as #1. 🙄

I'm not sure about interactive movies or interactive art (however, we want to look at it) being on this list. It's not that I dislike them, but game-play is extremely limited within titles like Detroit, Until Dawn, Life is Strange etc

And Mario at 3 hahahahah give it a rest Mario sucks.

Mario odyssey is definitely overrated but I definitely think it's a good game. I think they just lost the whole concept of what makes a collectathon great. Moons all over the place, unbalanced moon counts for stages. 70% of moons are predictable once you realize a few rules like anything involving a pipe 95% of the time has a extra moon off to the side lol. Feels like it's trying to be Donkey Kong 64 vs Banjo Kazooie and Tooie. They got it right, Mario 64 got it right, I think Mario had the collecting thing down with shines, and stars. The issue was the lack of other collectables. Instead they added a extra 800 moons lol. As much as people hate on yooka laylee I think they got that part down perfect. Every stage had the same amount and it wasn't too much. I did really like the smaller sized stages like lake kingdom and lost etc. But the bigger ones like metro and sand were the issues with it all for me lol

I get it, but to me it's tired and old hat. I used to be a huge Mega-Man fan and after the 20th (sarcasm) it got old too. Just like Mega-man - Mario games are the same, to me at least.

I've been in hog heaven with all the amazing quality SP games so far this gen! From The Last Guardian to The Witcher 3 and everything in between I've been blown away! Most have been Sony exclusives and is the main reason I'm such a PlayStation fan!

Personally I wouldn't have included final fantasy, dragon age inquisition, vampyr, and life is strange. Instead assassins creed origins or persona 5 or nioh or yakuza 0 or...well there are lots of SP worth mentioning which aren't included here. Also witcher 3 in top 5 at least. Otherwise the list got some pretty good SP games. Also top 5 have 2 games which are not really this gen. The last of us and GTA v so I wouldn't have included them either.
