For the past 20 years, NBA 2K has been the go-to game for most die-hard basketball fans. And with a new iteration of the critically acclaimed and commercially successful series, can 2K sports continue to dominate the market of sports simulation with this year's NBA 2K19?
Sports games were not lacking on the Nintendo Switch, featuring a diverse collection of games that could appeal to both casual and hardcore gamers.
From GI.biz: "Take-Two interactive is facing a class-action lawsuit over its use of loot boxes in the best-selling NBA 2K games.
Bloomberg reports the suit was filed on behalf of a minor and their guardian at the Winnebago Country Circuit Court in January, before being moved to the Illinois Northern District Court last month.
The complainant says that loot boxes "psychologically distance" players from the true financial impact of such purchases, noting that -- in the case of minors -- these are often paid for by a parent's credit card."
Amazon has discounted the physical version of NBA 2K19 to just $4.99 on the PS4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
That high a score littered with Microtransactions? No thank you. Perhaps teh gameplay is great but no way I can support that heavy-handed business model.
