If Capcom really does believe that gamers should be able to play Devil May Cry 5 whatever way they wish then why would they lock this flexibility behind a paywall that gamers without disposable income won’t be able to take advantage of?
With the release of the Devil May Cry series on Netflix, we take a moment to look back on this almost 20-year-old series and let you know the best of the best.
"Devil May Cry 2 isn’t trash. It’s just misunderstood by a fanbase that doesn’t like change."
This and putting DMC 2 number 2 is all I need to ignore this ranking. DMC2 is absolute trash and it's clear this person doesn't understand exactly why.
Today Capcom announced its financial results for the first nine months of the fiscal year 2019, which ended on December 31.
Niiiiiice. Now use some of that profit to make Zack and Wiki 2 for Switch. Get a remake of the first one first atleast.
"In Episode 120 of the Game Under Podcast, Tom Towers is joined by Aarny to discuss what many believe is the greatest beat up action characters ever, Devil May Cry 3."
First of all, there are only 3 playable characters, Lady, Trish and Vergil are not playable (unless they pull a fast one, or are added in via DLC)
Secondly this same purchase was in DMC4:SE and Red Orb Drop and Proud Soul drops were faster in SE then they were in it's initial release. We know attacks seem to run 32k on the expensive side, which most people playing the game are earning 20k-40k for a single mission so the MTX are not really cause an economy issue (That is actually still faster then DMC4 Vanilla release)
There is something in the game that is 3mil, but is confirmed not to be an attack and is rumored to be a taunt of some kind, but that is now a bad thing either, might be a decent day of grinding (Even less if you are good enough to S rank most mission and score higher)
I'm not down for MTX in games, but as long as they don't effect the in game economy making it take days to grind for things, I don't so much mind because largely it doesn't effect natural in game progress. I'll have my characters maxed out within a day or so anyways.
Though an ability to customize a difficulty sounds like a really fun idea.
Microtransactions May Cry
It sucks, but i gotta buy this game. Sorry, guys.
I hope Capcom will reverse this decision, because this is a bad look and will probably hurt the hype.
"There is no excuse for microtransactions" - there, I fixed it for you.
