Very low numbers for Tomb Raider. I have to admit that Switch numbers are low too this week.

While you are right in comparison to a title like Spider-man it is really low, keep in mind that the 32k is over 50% higher than Rise on the PS4 in Japan. I don't agree with you on Switch. Its selling fine. Low as in lower than the last few weeks? Sure but look at the software.

Oh yeah Switch is doing great in Japan. It is just the psychological limit of 40,000. The last time Switch had less than 40,000 copies sold was 4-5 months before I think.

Interestingly enough Shadow of the Tomb Raiders' PS4 sales are almost identical to its PS4 UK sales last week.
Spiderman had something like a 36% drop from launch which is extraordinary good especially given the shortage (and again in line with the UK drop). it has ALREADY outsold God of War in Japan and should pass it in the UK in about a week or two.

Square made mistake after mistake with this reboot

Launch around fallout make game timed exclusive with rise

Launch around Spiderman another mistake

Rise even if remained timed exclusive would have done well launching earlier in the year and same goes for shadow. No matter how hard square tries tomb raider isn't a big enough wide appeal IP to survive amongst other big games. Than they blame gamers for not supporting
