A new trademark for "Redfall" has caught the attention of Elder Scrolls fans.
Couldn't it also just be an expansion for TES Legends? They wouldn't be trademarking the name for TES VI yet when Starfield is still a few years away.
You got downvoted but this is probably it Or something for Elder scrolls online
"They wouldn't be trademarking the name for TES VI yet when Starfield is still a few years away" I disagree you can trademark anything at any time. If they like the name then there's little reason to wait until closer to release.
It would make sense since the trailer seemed to indicate the game takes place in Hammerfell/High Rock. Regardless I doubt we will get this before 2022.
If this indicates VI takes place in hammerfell the game could be in development for close to another decade. Could be wrong but I believe es ii: daggerfall still has the largest game world in existence.
Pretty sure you are right about that, other than games like no man's sky/Elite dangerous. However, I don't think there's any chance they will try to replicate that.
Well, if we're going count procedurally generated games in "the largest game worlds", wouldn't a game like No Man's Sky take the crown?
my guess is 2024, they'll release Starfield for next gen in 2020 and then TES VI 4 years later
I've been saying March 25, 2024. The series' 30th anniversary. Todd Howard says he knows the release date of TES VI, and that's the only date that would stand out this many years away.
I am looking forward to the official story/ gameplay reveals for this game!
Still waiting for the cannon ending of skyrim even, though we've already put together that ulfric won before skyrim was conquered.
Rather see the chosen city/region be the name of the game. Never understood why they went for Oblivion for Elder Scrolls IV when you had Daggerfall, Morrowind and now Skyrim
No place in elder scrolls is called daggerfall, but you were close.
No place in elder scrolls eh, hmmm. 'The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall is a fantasy open world arpg developed and published by Bethesda Softworks and released in 1996 for MS-DOS'. Google is your friend lol.
LOL Daggerfall is one of the eight major kingdoms in the region of High Rock I said above "Rather see the chosen city/region be the name of the game" Keywords "city/region"
I'll take my L here. Good day.
@G3 Take this w for acknowledging you were wrong, that's a rare trait to have
Oblivion was in cyrodiil
That was my point... "Never understood why they went for Oblivion for Elder Scrolls IV"
@fox, because of the oblivion gates probably. Also because oblivion sounds better than cyrodiil.
Marketing perhaps? Oblivion sounds cool.
Elder Scrolls IV: Cyrodiil... Doesn't have as much of a ring to it.
Great, another game title with "fall" on the end of it. Not enough of those.
Here's me hoping, but could it be redguard and daggerfall mixed together? I'm sure next gen technology would be able to render both high rock and hammerfell in one game
