NZ Game Data shows Xbox is in the Gaming Wilderness

When it comes to data on game sales, New Zealand really lags behind most countries. We have no real gaming charts, so it can be hard to see what’s popular and what’s not. “Everything on the Top 5 lists over the past five months has been for PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.“

That’s because the best games are on PS4 and Nintendo Switch.

"We have no real gaming charts, so it can be hard to see what’s popular and what’s not"

So you use the search results of one of the many websites in NZ? Hardly academic. But yes I would expect that PS4 would dominate any top 5 sales list, as it has more than double the install base, and has had multiple big releases this year. Microsoft's games this year have been mediocre, and FH4 will be up against too much competition to compete with.

Zelda's the first game just about everyone buys for the Switch, so no surprise that it would be doing this well. But again, search results aren't a good way to measure actual sales.

The problem is that when you search for NZ game charts it will include us with Australia, so they are right what they say about how we have no real gaming charts
