Yeah I understand where you’re coming from but I can tell you that Forsaken is EASILY the best Destiny DLC ever. There’s almost to much to do. I didn’t like the bow when I saw videos of it because it looked weak and unsatisfing but let me tell you that it’s now my favorite weapon. I have a god roll bow so never leaving my rotation.

You people seem to not realize why people play games. Do you think people just scroll through each game and think, 'nope, nothing out of the ordinary here, guess I won't get any games today.'

This game has 4 things (not even out yet so maybe more), most people don't need 4 things, but this game has; A great developer behind where a lot of people trust, Spider-man a house hold name to garner attention from every possible direction, solid game play taken from other games but developers defined it for their game, and a great story (from reviewers). I could put web-slinging in that list since it is so drastically different in terms of traveling compared to other games.

Vulture was done more than right. Especially knowing how he was potraied in the first amazing spider man comics. This one was menacing and had great motives to do what he did. A complex character and a great mcu villain that isn't one dimensional. Don't know about the game since I'll play it on Friday and though the weekend

If you like story drive games with good combat and want a lot of stuff to do, I will say try out Horizon Zero Dawn. One thing I been reading in Spider man reviews is that you don't need to use your full arsenal so reviewers don't change things up.

I did the same thing in Horizon Zero Dawn, until I said okay, let change it up, me changing it up made that game shine even more since I learned more and more about the robots and their weaknesses. The story it what drove me to want more and more. It is a great game to get lost in.

I will always tell people to get Bloodborne even if you want me to COOP with you the whole game lol

I have horizon, but I couldn't get into it (I'll definitely give it another go at some point). I've loved all the God of War games, and Spiderman intrigues me because of the open world exploration. I'm looking forward to swinging through Manhattan.

Bloodborne isn't a story driven at all but god all mighty is the combat one of the best. The lore in the game in top notch. One of those game where if someone only wants to COOP, I will gladly say yes to that!

I've pretty much been on a black out on Spider-Man for years and I have finally watched one of the videos "Reinvented". The one main thing that just sold me on the game is when Bryan Intihar said "I am tired of seeing the old stuff, tired of seeing the origin story". That did it for me. More studios need to think this way. If you are new then read the comics, watch the cartoons or movies. You know what I am tired of...the game industry catering to the new casuals. Make a good game and they will come, that simple.

I am a PC gamer first and foremost, but I own a PS4 and Switch for exclusive games only. The thing that separates Sony from the others is one clear thing and no it is not the graphics, it is the creativity when it comes to packaging a great story. Most casuals and fanboys tend to focus on how the game looks, but when gamers play a game all that shiny goodness falls into the background because you become so immersed into the full game. Sony has done a wonderful job with their studios the last few years compared to previous and that is mostly due to their focus on the type of games they want to publish.

God of War "Reboot" and Horizon Zero Dawn are great examples of games where you look past the looks and find very intriguing stories that make you want to play the game again years later. Hopefully Spider-Man and some others releasing in the future become that too.

Honestly, I wasn't too excited for Spider-Man, but knowing it will have new content I can't get anywhere else is amazing as a comic lover.

Internet you will have a lot of people putting down what they don't like or don't have. It is VERY easy to downplay graphics because you DON'T need to play the game to have an opinion (for the most part). Time after time, these people don't affect anything besides whatever website forum they on to make those forums less fun.

FYI, I don't think ANYONE had to 'look past' the graphics of GOW or Zero Dawn lol
