Alien Isolation Novel Announced; Releasing January 2019

Alien Isolation, the 2014 survival horror by Creative Assembly and Fera Interactive, is getting its very own novel next year. Keith R.A. DeCandido is working on the novel and it’s set to release January 2019.

DeCandido is a well-known American fiction writer with critically-acclaimed works like World of Warcraft: Cycle of Hatred, Starcraft: Ghost-Nova, Command & Conquer: Tiberium Wars and much more. Earlier today, DeCandido announced his upcoming project, i.e. Alien Isolation’s novel, on Twitter.

The story is too old to be commented.

I wonder if this novel will canon Alien Isolation in relation to Alien and Aliens. I am currently unsure what Ridley Scott considers canon when you factor in Prometheus and Alien Covenant.

Sick! Beating isolation on nightmare mode was super fun. Long game too. The steam effects were so immersive! Not fun that all robots were insta- death if they touch you though... there should have been some way to survive getting caught 😒

I loved that game so much! I almost feel obligated to buy this, if for no better reason than to show my adoration.
