Great numbers for Nintendo!!

It's quiet here....well Switch is continuing it's over 50K weekly sales.
Crazy. If it doing that. Then when Smash or Holiday Season start it could sell between 80-200K weekly.

In my opinion Pokemon is likely gonna push sale more than Smash, as it is gonna attract a lot of causal to the console.

DJK1NG_Gaming148d ago

No. Pokemon Let's Go right now isn't going to sell more than Smash Ultimate.

The bad stigma surrounding Pokemon Let's Go from Core Pokemon Fans won't have it cause much more of sales booth than you think.

@DJK1NG - yeah but there are a lot of people that enjoy the casual nature of Pokemon Go. These games are designed to pull in that audience by offering a small sliver of the core Pokemon experience while still keeping it recognizable to them with the simplified battles and Pokemon Go captures, etc.

Their goal is to get these people on board with Pokemon in hopes that they will play this game and then be ready to tackle a meatier experience in the future.

Neonridr148d ago

that's because people like Lime don't show their face anymore. Monster Hunter has dropped off the charts here in Japan, Switch is selling over twice as many units as the PS4 + Pro, Switch software dominates the charts.

seriously 9 of the top 10 are Switch titles and 17 out of the top 20 are Nintendo titles. And this is without any real "major" software launching lately. Can you imagine the numbers when Smash or the new Pokemon games drop?

Damn. The Switch is killing it in Japan. Good to see the 3DS still doing nicely.
