I wanna see Dante and that other character

Show me Vitale and Dante gameplay.

So I saw the gameplay, my take away.

Camera is a hyprid of DmC and DMC4, I hated DMC4's camera.

Animations are improved, cheesy overly campy dialogue from DMC 1-4 is back, action looks like an evolution of DMC4 and DmC, graphics and destruction have amped up drastically, the world shifting mechanic from DmC is back.

Gameplay seems to be 30fps... Seemingly to push for the incredible graphics and destruction on display.

The stupid "every 4 minutes is a cutscene story telling design philosophy" is back from the PS2 era. 🙄.

I'm highly annoyed at that, really feel they could have done more tell a more grown up story. The jokes and one line delivers are absolutely terrible. This kind of dialog was passable during the PS2 era when I was a teenager... This is laughable now.

I'm still gonna get it. As I've been a fan of the IP... But, I wish Ninja Theory made DmC2 instead building on everything they did on the previous. Oh well.

Wow… Nintendo is champ in Japan, but the speed of sale is remarkable.

Proves that console gaming isn’t dead yet not by a long shot.

gold_drake1d 7h ago

not surprised, the switch is relatively cheap in japan.

I guess the resistance against always online and digital only consoles is BS. The people have voted with their wallets.

What are you talking about? Switch 2 is neither always online nor digital only.

Nintendo can literally block your Switch 2 console from accessing their online services at any time. When that happens, it becomes a brick. You won't even be able to play those games that use game key cards that are not installed on the console. Some users who have been blocked tried factory resetting their system, and when they tried to boot it up with a new account, they are stuck.

Speaking of game key cards, the majority of third party publishers have opted to use those instead of loading their full game on those cartridges. Imagine having a library of game key card games and going on a long trip but not being able to play a particular game because you need to connect to Nintendo servers to download the game first. It is not like the old days where you just plug in and play.

Game key cards make sense for large games like GTA, Red Dead, or COD, but I don't see why publishers who have games with sizes less than 32 GB need to use that option.

If you try to mod your system it could get banned from online play like every single system since the ps3 and xbox
