Chrono Cross' Intro Movie is Perfect. Let's Watch it Again

USGamer writes “Today marks the 18th anniversary of Chrono Cross' North American release on the PlayStation. As much as we'll take any excuse to celebrate the life of any influential retro game here at USgamer, "18" is an odd number to commemorate. Why bother?”

The story is too old to be commented.

How can square ignore such a series?. All those rubbish FF mobile spin off and they can't find people to revive this franchise. And we don't necessarily need a continuation but maybe a remaster just like octopath traveller style but in 3d.

Well considering when Square and Enix merged, most of Squares key people left or had left within the previous few years so wouldn't trust them with any of their ip's really.

Supposedly its because EVERYONE who worked on it, except for yuji hori, left Square
Especially because Masato Kato left

What’d be the point?

Most the developers for the Chrono series went onto work in Monolith Soft, a third Chrono game wouldn’t be a lot like its predecessors just like Chrono Cross wasn’t like its predecessors in many ways.

Plus with spiritual successors like I Am Setsuna and Lost Sphear failing to surpass Chrono Trigger in critical appeal, there’s even less reason for Square Enix to make a new title in the series when it’s likely to fail to live up to the expectations the franchise has garnered.

I'm not disabling adblocker, sorry. When you assholes stop hosting dangerous ads, then maybe I'll consider it.

This is one of my all time favorite IPs, and I wish it would come back. I loved Chrono Cross and Chrono Trigger, and beat both countless time. This intro video always has, and always will, give me chills everytime I see it and hear that music.

My favorite game of all time. Seeing it on the front page made my day. :D

Love this game!
The atmosphere is great.
Should remastered like Secret of Mana

A remaster of this mighty game should make many JRPG fans go gaga! I played this game twice back in the day--a rare thing for me to do. If Secret of Mana got a proper remake, why not this one? SE can keep the same camera perspective; just spruce up the graphics and all that. They don't need to go the FFVII Remake route.
