This game is woefully inadequate. Sega should never have called this Golden Axe and dragged a strong name in the dirt. Avoid Golden Axe: Beast Rider at any price. Sega should put themselves in the shame corner (along with George Lucas) for how they treat old classics that people really love and care about.
