Looks like GameStop is really eager to pick up your old console if you're buying an Xbox One X, offering between $200 and 300 in trade value.

I have a PS4 Pro, and an Xbox One S. I would like to have an X in place of my S. The same games that are playable on the S are playable on the X, so nothing is lost...

Edit: I would not trade my PS4.

So if i brought in my Xbox X could they just hand me over a PS4pro? I would love to get rid of this X. Honestly, I caught a good deal from a guy on OfferUp. He won it at a Christmas party and sold me the Xbox X for 300 bucks brand new in box. I couldn't pass up on that deal. But i really want the Pro back in my life because the X....well..we all know the limited exclusive library and the limited 4k enhanced experiences. Additionally, I'm really looking forward to that spider-man game. From owning both consoles (at one point), I just feel the PS4pro offers a better library of content compared to the Xbox. While I do love both consoles, Playstation is just right. If i were a PS4pro owner, I would never give it up for an Xbox X, especially since you still have to shell out more money on top of trading in your system.

If they're offering up that much for a PS4, they're likely running really low on PS4P used systems. That means people are likely buying them up, and it means that people certainly aren't trading them in. I can't imagine they'll get a lot of people trading in their PS4P for an X1X right now. I can see more trading in their OGPS4 for a Pro.

Are you talking about Last of Us Remastered or Shadow of the Colossus remastered or Dark Souls remastered or crash banicoot or spyro or the many other remastered games?

There seems to be quite a demand to play games from previous gens with better graphics except on Xbox if you own the game already you don't need to buy it again.

I definitely wouldn't trade either my PS4 or Switch for an Xbox One S or X, even if it was a straight swap, my older systems for a brand new, untouched XB1 of either kind.

The quality of exclusives available on both PS4 and Nintendo Switch just eclipses XB1's offerings.
Every multiplat is on PS4, I definitely wouldn't want to miss out on it's exclusives for the lackluster ones offered on XB1.

PSVR also has way better Exclusives than XB1, I wouldn't trade mine for an S or X.

You get less than half the value for the One X. Just a matter of supply and demand. Game Stop must have a ton of used One X consoles in their stores for the trade in value to be so low.

I use my Pro the least between my X and my Pro. I bought it solely for Exclusives, so no I would not trade it in even if it has been collecting dust recently, it's exclusive dust ;)

There's been this weird stock shortage on PS4 Pros in the US (hasn't been reported much). You can definitely sell a working pro for more than 300 right now. On the flip side Walmart has XB1X available for $450 which is a better deal than GameStop's $499

Tempted to trade in my Forza 6 XBOne. But I just have a 1080P TV - so I don’t think I’d see a significant improvement in the games.

I’m waiting for the next gen of consoles before upgrading my TV. OLED should be reasonable by then.
