Eric Schild writes, "Fable II rewards grinding with the keys to the kingdom. It holds your hand every step of the way. The combat is totally uninspired and the demon doors are still as annoying as they were in Fable. Jumping is context-sensitive. The townspeople range between daft and stupid. The dialogue for the main quest is hokey and sometimes ridiculous. In fact, most of the dialogue is just out there.
"Despite these things, the game is still incredibly fun."
