Kill la Kill The Game: IF is the next anime game in the pipeline, and it looks really good in the first gameplay debuted at EVO 2018.
Kill la Kill the Game: IF, released earlier this week, is a fighting game with a story. And publishers Arc System Works are so protective of it that they’ve stated “all streams and uploads” of the game’s story mode “are prohibited indefinitely”.
Kill la Kill: IF has done a lot of work to push the arena fighter genre forward, even if its story mode won't build up new fans.
The Mako Reactor says: “We played Kill la Kill The Game: IF on both PS4 Pro and Nintendo Switch and here is everything you need to know.”
Am I the only one who finds the combat a bit "sluggish" compared to games like Dragonball FighterZ, Hero Academy and Naruto? What really disappoints me is the lack of stage destruction. The stages just looks so drab and lifeless.
This game should have been an action adventure game like God of War / Devil May Cry / Bayonetta / Nier: Automata. What a way to screw a franchise.
