Wow. PS4 and Switch are doing amazing.

Switch on it’s way to pass Xbox One sales in 2019.

Neonridr2485d ago

could very well happen. This holiday the Switch will have some big titles releasing to help boost sales. Not sure what MS has planned for the Xbox this xmas.

MasterCornholio2485d ago

Forza Horizon 4 is what Microsoft has. Then shortly after that they have Crackdown 3.

Neonridr2485d ago

FH4 looks great, I will admit that.

JaguarEvolved2485d ago

PlayStation 4 Total Sales: 80,594,435

Xbox One Total Sales: 37,943,073

Switch Total Sales: 18,264,209

Ps4 is just amazing and its success well deserved

Rude-ro2485d ago

You know, this time last year.. vgchartz has the PlayStation at an average of “916,006” monthly sales for the July posting...
Currently listed as “1,121,703” monthly sales... and they state they are down year of year for the last two months. They were wrong last month as well.. according to their own numbers. 🤔

Neonridr2485d ago

who cares.. nobody said it was exact. If you can point us to more "accurate" numbers, I am sure we would all welcome it. But as it stands, this is what we have.

Rude-ro2485d ago

@Neonridr
Who cares when it comes to writing articles and posting them?
Do you not see the irony of that question? Why do them at all? especially if their purpose is to share knowledge with consumers?
That’s fine if they are “made up” to represent something... but then comes the question, what are they representing if they are just making them up as they go?

nothing new, all is as it has been, as it should be

It's a lost cause for MS this gen. Hopefully they learn from this, but that seems unlikely with GaaS being their focus.

russo1212485d ago (Edited 2485d ago )

IMO is not a lost cause but an opportunity for MS, this generation is a big lesson to them. I sincerely hope next generation they'll be humble and get the job done as it should. By example, they should take some risks as their competitors by producing AAA games, exclusive content, so their platform can show their strength.
GaaS is not a path to follow, but just my opinion. Anyway, that's a lot of hope.

OT - great job Sony and Nintendo.

Review - Capcom Fighting Collection 2 (Xbox One) | WayTooManyGames

WTMG's Leo Faria: "Ignoring one or two slightly dated titles, plus a truly terrible one, Capcom Fighting Collection 2 goes to show that no one is doing arcade gaming preservation as well as Capcom right now. Just the inclusion of Capcom vs. SNK 2 by itself, in such a pristine, rollback-supported stated, is enough of a reason for you to purchase it, but add in games like two Power Stones and the best version of the best Street Fighter, and what you have here is more than a lot of bang for your buck. What we have here is an infinitely enjoyable collection of fighting works of art."
