GI: "The Last of Us: Part II opened Sony’s press conference with a bang. Not only did we meet a new character named Dina who’s obviously important in Ellie’s life, but we also saw a slice of the combat. As with any follow-up title, the next game always looks to improve on its predecessor, and true to Naughty Dog, it’s set on taking things to the next level. During E3 2018, I got the opportunity to sit with co-directors Kurt Margenau and Anthony Newman to discuss how combat has evolved and what we can expect from it the highly anticipated sequel."
Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2 developers discuss the huge success of Space Marine 2 and its effect on the series as a whole.
I’ll get Space Marine 2 when it’s cheaper. I don’t pay more than half price for short games.
Sector sat down with Glen Schofield—creator of Dead Space and The Callisto Protocol—during the Game Developers Session (GDS) in Prague to discuss the evolution of the game industry, the current challenges of AAA development, and why it's become so hard to get original ideas off the ground in today’s risk-averse environment.
It’s easy enough to say that, but why? It feels weird to me when developers say this but common sense would tell you everything about the idea itself should work.

I notice it always ps4 or ps4 pro but never xbox one x which is more powetful then the ps4 pro.
sooo ...
what this is telling us, is that it comes down to the game and the devs optimization.

I'm glad to see more stealth elements like being able to go prone and hide under cars.
Having a dedicated dodge move is fantastic and the status effect of getting hit with an arrow is a really neat idea.
Since there was no hud or crosshair it was hard to tell if the aiming still has that signature floatiness to it, but hopefully they're tightening that up as well.
The game is a technical marvel in every aspect except for one detail that killed it for me, but it's my personal opinion and preference.
