Please make this amazing! I've loved Mario Party since the first game, it just started to lose its way with the last few entries.

FlyingFoxy2568d ago

I heard this one will have 80 minigames, that's a lot. Maybe this is the point where there's only 1 release for each new console. That would be better IMO.

FlyingFoxy2568d ago (Edited 2568d ago )

I was 50/50 about putting in a preorder at base.com, definitely am now! Great news.

This will be the 2nd Mario Party i ever owned. First was #1 on the 64!

if a character lands on same mark as the other do they challenges each other

its not completely online, stop misleading people

Vegamyster2567d ago

It's a online multiplayer mode, how is that misleading?

MrSwankSinatra2567d ago

You obviously missed the part where i said its not '"COMPLETELY" online, you cannot play a full board in this game.

Vegamyster2567d ago

It said a online multiplayer game mode which is true, it didn't state you can play the board game mode.

MrSwankSinatra2567d ago

You clearly don't have it as it's only for minigames not for an actual full board game.

KwietStorm_BLM2567d ago

The headline says it has a online mode. The article details what mode it's for. You are the only person complaining about anything misleading. Reason being there is nothing misleading.

My personal opinion:

Manufacturers and publishers have indeed inflated the industry.

From $700 million development costs for games like Call of Duty, to digital (store) prices for games and DLCs, online multiplayer fees on consoles (why can you play Helldivers 2 online for free on PC but not consoles?) or still preventing sell/lend digitally purchased games.

Sometime in the future, this bubble will collapse.

They should know better, but they just can't help themselves and suck even the last penny out of our wallets.

BeHunted1d 4h ago

Because Sony knows people will be forced to pay those prices for single player and multiplayer games, not everyone prefers PC gaming. Sony also has a monopoly on PlayStation digital games. In 2019, they stopped allowing retailers and game key sellers to sell PlayStation digital games, making them available only through the official PlayStation Store

The Dutch gov. wants a piece of the pie.

Eonjay1d 6h ago

They should be suing the individual publishers increasing the prices to $80 instead of suing the store. There are plenty of publishers still selling game for like $50 with much success (like E33). But this proves that the publishers are the ones setting the prices.... so again nothing changes because they aren't even going after the main offender. How is suing Sony going to make Microsoft not charge $80 for the next COD? Sony being the number one store in the market doesn't mean that publisher have to charge us an arm and a leg. Again the industry is laughing at us because consumers never get real representation. Just these fake platitudes that are meaningless.

"How is suing Sony going to make Microsoft not charge $80 for the next COD"

Because Microsoft doesn't have a monopoly, I can purchase Call of Duty at a huge discount from CDKeys or other gaming retailers. The only way to purchase digital PlayStation games is through the PlayStation Store.

Weird, I swore GoW, Stellar Blade, Horizon Zero Dawn, TLoU, etc. were on the steam store....uh.....

BeHunted23h ago(Edited 23h ago)

@djI3485

I'm talking about PlayStation games that you can only purchase on PlayStation. I can purchase Steam and Epic games from 3rd party retailers and key stores.

About time. There is zero fair reason why digitally distributed products that you cannot recoup any value when you want to dispose of them, should be priced higher than that of physical copies that entail all of the costs and the benefits of owning.

Its time Damian ...and his mother too & how his son came to be will be a big part in a background story of a Batman movie, series or game.

-Foxtrot2d ago

I'd have rather seen Terry than Damian especially to see what they could have done with Terry in the Arkhamverse

excaliburps1d 13h ago

No, WB doesn't want anything fun since suits want live service garbage for max revenue. LOL!

Shame. If we are getting any Batman games like these, it'll be years away.

LordStig1d 1h ago

YES! make an Arkham game with Terry as Batman and call it Batman Beyond Arkham.

Green-Smurf1d 8h ago

Damian doesn't follow his dad's code. He kills

Babadook71d 8h ago

Not to be confused with Damon Wayans.

jznrpg1d 8h ago

I’m not a big superhero fan but I do enjoy the Batman and SpiderMan games. Too bad this one got cancelled. WB has been mostly shite live service.
