Origins is fantastic and Odyssey looks great too, but no way do I want a game every single year.

starchild2145d ago

I do admit it can be hard to keep up when they come out every year.

porkChop2145d ago

That's good. Yeah if Odyssey is ready then by all means release it this year. But annual releases really hurt the series, so just don't push the games out until they're ready.

Youngindy212145d ago

I wonder when Ubisoft will stop milking Assassin's Creed. I mean what are we on Assassin's creed 20 now.

EDKICK2145d ago (Edited 2145d ago )

@Youngindy21 For all the hate AC gets since the series started they have released a decent number of games that are at least good, almost all (main entries) have been ok. ACII and Black Flag are earlier entries that are regarded as great. The new direction they've recently taken the series just produced Origins, easily the best in the series IMO and one of the best games of last year. As long as what Yves says is true and every once and a while we go a couple years without an AC, I don't see a huge problem.

Embracer CEO demonstrates a masterclass in mental gymnastics in latest interview.

Turned based Phantasy Star and Shinning Force remain at the top of my list of Sega IPs that need to return. At the very least I'd take a Shining Force collection that has 1,2,3, CD and the Game Gear entries.

FinalBoss6d ago

I was hesitant to put these two on. I've personally played more PSO than the RPG version. And shame on me, I don't remember much about Shining Force to talk about it properly.

That said, so many Sega licences deserve their place in this list.

jznrpg3d ago

A new Phantasy Star in the numbered series would be amazing. Shining Force too. But I’d settle on some collections as that’s probably the best we will get

anast5d ago

I don't trust Sega to do a proper comeback. The games will be just remastered and/or monetized to death.

shining force.

but indont see that happening unfortunately.
