Ahead of Bethesda's E3 press briefing, Todd Howard took to the Xbox stage to bring fans the first details for Fallout 76. According to Howard, Fallout 76 will take place before any of the other Fallout games and will serve as a mainline entry as opposed to the spin-off fans were expecting.
Players are taking to Reddit to let Bethesda know they want ghoulification added to Fallout 76 in a future update.
Fallout 76 hasn't received a massive update to the camping system yet and it's about time that it happened, especially with the player base rising.

I hope it is indeed a mainline entry. This was the only game shown on the Microsoft presentation that interested me. So since we got this in the MS show can we get Elder Scrolls 6 in Bethesda's please?
4 times bigger than Fallout 4....wow! Hope they don’t don’t fuck it up with multiplayer....otherwise it’s a day one buy for me for sure!
I’d personally like online co-op for this, it would be great fun and you could collect and trade weapons, materials etc with your friend.
