With the recent announcement that the Games with Gold service will no longer feature Xbox 360 games, the fate of the service appears to be sealed.
I’ve been saying for ages they need to either make GWG good again, or scrap it and just go all in on Game Pass.
They are scrapping it and going full on Gamepass lol. Right now it's the optics of how they sell the idea of paying to play online all over again.
PS+ and GWG were all just ways to make people feel like forcing them to pay to use their internet was a good thing.
Without GWG, the barrier to entry is much more expensive.
Microsoft has yet to announce the Xbox Games with Gold free games lineup for April 2020 but thanks to the Microsoft Store we now know two of the free games.
Damn, I almost never see a price drop on Fable Anniversary, so free is even better. Looks like the rest of the games will be crap though.

So because there are people dying all over the world and people are having to stay at home, you should get better stuff. Just be happy 'during these times' you have your health, some people won't even have the luxury to stay at home, let alone 'free' games on a console games subscription.
Wow why the hate, no crime in hoping for something more that I’m interested in. I’ve been gaming for a long long time. Since the sears Machine, then Apple 2 pcs, then my first Gaming only console the Atari 2600 I washed cars to get.

Need? Of course not, but they would be greatly appreciated, they not only help pass the time indoors but they help people relieve some stress and get their mind off, if only for a while, what is going in their lives possibly to friends, loved ones or their community.
I’m an xbox guy for the most part, but you can’t be serious that project cars is a great game. Have you played horizon 4? If not get on that......also, I think it’s clear that the quality content is going to gamepass and not games with gold.
I mean fable is a great game, but not a quality games with gold game when it’s already on game pass. I kind of thought Microsoft would step up with all that’s going on and deliver hits, but unless they blow me away with the other two games later today, I’m very underwhelmed by this.

I really liked Ryse too, and FH4 is my favourite ever driving game, but PC2 is decent and scored 84 on Metacritic. Its also enhanced for the X
i like PC2 better then FH4 , but i play with a wheel, not sure if PC2 is any fun with a gamepad?
Been waiting for PC2 to go free. I am downloading for the X1X. Hoping it is on the enhanced list.

Highly doubtful. If they give us another creed game wouldn't it be origins. Considering odyssey is hugely successful and still selling.
No way Odyssey is going to make it. The new Tomb Raider made it to games pass a few months ago, but it didn't have as strong of sales as Odyssey.
