Far Cry 5: Hours of Darkness works a few interesting ideas into its brief jaunt to Vietnam.
From Xfire: "The Far Cry franchise is one of the most well-known names when it comes to video games, thanks to its exotic settings and lunatic (yet lovable) villains. The chronology of the main series is pretty straight forward, they're set in the year they were released in. While there isn't a lot of confusion surrounding the timeline of Far Cry 1-6, the stand-alone expansions and spin-offs make the chronology iffy."
Playing Far Cry 4 on my Series X. It was on my backlog of games played, but never beat. The gameplay is so much better at 60fps. I am liking the fact some games I own and like are getting a free boost. It gives me a reason to go back and play them more.
Tom Chick - "The new game+ is part of the latest update, so really, it has nothing to do with the paid DLC. But now that it’s all been released, two out of three ain’t bad. The level of quality dipped with each successive release, and the pricing seems to know this. On Steam, the Vietnam DLC is $12, the Mars DLC is $10, and the zombie DLC is $8. Or you can get all three with a $30 season’s pass, which seems to be aimed at people who are bad at math. But if you’re a discerning buyer of DLC, come to Hours of Darkness for the gameplay, Lost on Mars for the humor, and Dead Living Zombies for neither."

Couldn't have put it better myself. When I play the Dead Living Zombies DLC, ironically, I feel like I'm turning into a brain dead zombie. Most uninspired piece of crap I've ever played. Played 2 maps, and no more. FINALLY, I can now delete Far Cry 5 from my PS4.
It’s not worth it, even for the free copy of fc3. Just get fc3 for 10 bucks cheaper or much cheaper on a sale.
Hours of Darkness is the first DLC in the Far Cry 5 Season Pass. Does it start with a bang?
I thought the season pack advertised these as expansion packs. From what I’ve read of these they appear to sound like simple level addons that don’t particularly contain much content & completed fairly quickly.
I thought the price of it was to good to be true.
