The best Micro SD cards for Nintendo Switch

Digital Foundry:
"The Nintendo Switch offers an unparalleled portable gaming experience, but the console does have its own set of limitations. One of these is the 32GB of internal memory, which can be quickly filled up when many games clock in at 10GB or more. Some, like LA Noire, won't even fit on the Switch's internal memory at all, as they require more than the 25.9GB of user accessible space! That means that making use of the Switch's Micro SD card slot is practically essential - but with long load times and plenty of cards to choose from, it can be difficult to know which Switch memory card will best suit your needs."

“Whether you intend to stick to physical cartridges or digital purchases, Switch's need for mandatory downloads in some scenarios means that a Micro SD card of some description is an essential purchase.”

When you get a PSP & Vita which also offered console on the go experiences, getting external storage was also an essential mandatory purchase so it’s not anything new for many people except it’s not using proprietary memory cards.

However if i got a Switch I’d primarily use it as a home console, so this kind of thing still ticks me off. Here’s hoping Nintendo has the basic decency to release a later Switch SKU with bigger internal storage.

or just enable external HD support via the USB ports on the dock. That is a simple solution, and even the Wii U offered that feature.

Must admit just picked up A Wii U for there exclusives, and loving it . Don’t get me wrong I’m missing trophy’s s and achievements , but the he’ll with them. On playing Zelda breath of the wild and enjoying myself ,then a bit of bayonetta 2 in between. I can honestly say Nintendo do have so great games fan or not . Then I’ve got all WIi games like madword,Silent Hill , etc brill . Loving it 😁

RE franchise is my favourite, it’s so awesome. There’s so much variety and many great games. That is why i hope we’ll get at least one more RE with first person perspective. I want that RE7 experienece one more time! The RE9 director is the same one as RE7 so i’m expecting it to be amazing.

About what it goes for on digital store fronts these days as well. It's always seems like it's on sale along with the other RE games.

I loved the similarities between Village and RE4. I guess the main thing that felt similar is they both seem like sprawling “villages” and the action was well balanced. Both incredible games in VR too.

So pretty much first party and a few third party big publishers will get all the free marketing.

Nintendo’nt care.
