PS4 part, Xbox part, Nintendo Switch part, PC part. Own all the gaming platforms to play the whole story... 4 different character paths in each separate game, which you have to own all four to make sense of the story.

Square Enix has some good games from time to time. A huge fall from grace. They used to have masterpiece games when they were exclusive.. Going multiplat is when most games went to sh*t

What games were exclusive? I can only think of the very early entry's that were exclusive later titles (7 onwards) were on PC (now the early remasters are there too) as well as console.

Kingdom hearts, Valkyrie Profile, Grandia 3, Dragon Quest 8. Not to mention ALL the NES/SNES games. Theres plenty more too jr. Dont play because you know they made much better games when they focused on one console. They still make good ones now but nowhere near as many quality titles as before.

Square and square Enix were mostly exclusive to one platform or another until last gen. They developed on multiple platforms, but each game need usually exclusive.

And there is some merit to them going downhill since going multi-plat. However, I think that's more due to dwindling creativity than any technical issues with making a game for multiple consoles or pc.
