"First things first, I loved the N64. It was the first console that I bought games for with my own money. I pre-ordered The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time with a coupon from the back of a magazine and paid for it by post with a cheque. Whether it be single or multiplayer, some of my fondest and most beloved gaming memories come from playing on the N64, whether it be messing around outside Princess Peach's castle for two hours before realising the first level was actually inside, to doing loops to avoid a pair of incoming laser beams in Star Fox 64, to hating the one random guy at a party who'd always pick OddJob in GoldenEye 007. "
Another Crab's Treasure spends much of its runtime commenting on the dangers of capitalism, and the character of Firth is the perfect example of that.
Games Asylum: "It seems reasonable to suggest most people have a preferred takeaway establishment. The one that you always find yourself coming back to, much to your waistline’s despair. Should that takeaway temporarily close, you’ll doubtlessly have to expand horizons and go elsewhere. Sure, the food from a second choice might be palatable, but it’s never the same, lacking in zest. This analogy can be applied to the 3D Realms published WRATH. It’s powered by a modified version of the Quake engine, and even plays like ID’s masterful shooter at times, but it’s lacking that all important crunchiness. It isn’t completely soggy, but there’s not much bite either."
"The Cracow-based (Poland) indie games publisher Feardemic and Málaga-based (Spain) indie games developer Under the Bed Games, are today very happy and excited to announce that their folk horror 2D point-and-click adventure “Tales From Candleforth.“, is now available for PC (via Steam and GOG) and consoles (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch) via digital stores" - Jonas Ek, TGG.
Early polygon models look like ass. The NES and SNES games still look good because they are sprite based.
you wouldn't be able to include any Rare game besides maybe DK64. You wouldn't be able to include Pokemon Stadium due to the Transfer Pak requirement. No Goldeneye or World is Not Enough due to licensing issues. Same can be said for Turok and Shadow Man (comic book characters). I have no idea of who owns the IP rights for Midway Games (which were a good chunk of the good multiplayer titles for the franchise). Nintendo's own NBA Courtsise would be a dated no-no. Wave Race would face licensing issues with Kawasaki. Same with 1080 Snowboarding and Tommy Hilfiger.
All in all, it would be a licensing nightmare.
