After big single player hits from God of War, A Way Out, Far Cry 5, and others. It's safe to say gamers fears, that single player and narrative based games, are here to stay. Why, is it that some big publishers like EA, and Activision think different? Why, are some publishers trying to push the notion that a campaign focus games are dying?
Far Cry debuted on March 23, 2004, meaning that next week, it will have been 20 years since Jack Carver first washed up on the shore of a tropical paradise teeming with hostile mercenaries.
I'd love a far cry pack with the original PC game (not the half assed port on ps360) instincts, predator even a port of far cry 2 to modern consoles back when these games had their own identity and weren't far cry 3 cut and pastel

Going to have to try and get back into Far Cry. The formula for Far Cry may be fun, but it gets repetitive very fast.
Been playing this series since far cry 3 I love the adventuring vibe this series gives off even far cry primal is so good, but experiencing far cry 5 in 60 fps crisp graphics on ps5 for the first time is dope it adds life to it, I wana give far cry 6 a second chance couldn’t get into it at first I wonder if it’s worth it

Single player is alive and kicking.
Single player story games today are becoming better than most Hollywood blockbusters . So no they are not going anywhere , if anything they are going to get even better .Don’t get me wrong there is always a place for great coop/multiplayer games also. That is why our hobby is becoming now if not already the best form of entertainment going . Thank you Sega, Nintendo,Atari, Sony,Microsoft and all for giving my life enjoyment all these years .
SP games are always rocking and are as much a part of the industry as they've always been! It makes me laugh when it's said SP games are dying or aren't profitable or when people act shocked that a well made game is well received!
