Destiny 2: Warmind Review - Back To Work | GameSpot

Destiny 2: Warmind is geared toward high-level players, but it offers little in the way of motivation while you grind levels to get to the endgame.

More like Destiny 2 : MehMind! Bungie has managed to produce some of the lamest and laziest expansions in recent memory. It's almost like they don't care any more.

bigmalky2548d ago

They don't. People keep mindlessly buying from them, despite being continually disappointed by their efforts and practices.

These people can shoulder part of the blame for lazy dlc and businesses like this continuing the cycle.

To me destiny just feels like a crappy version of borderlands that nickels and dimes you. At one point in time I got a ton of disagrees for sayjng that during the hype for destiny 1. Remember when they tried to call it an mmo?

quent2548d ago

Same happened to me, I guess the hardcore Destiny fanboys never gave BL 2 a try, imo with the vermentide games to a degree are the only worthy looter shooters we've had, well maybe also WF, although thats a different beast with how that mountaineering like learning curve and long but rewarding grind goes on for different tiers of gear, kept me hooked for a solid 6 months, not bad for a 0$ game

Who says stupid people aren't a harm to anyone? Just look at what has happened to the video game industry since it became "popular".

Whenever someone says to you that it doesn't affect you how someone spends their money? Just remember this one example. This garbage did not come from out of thin air, and it continues to exist for a reason.

Destiny 2 Warmind Review - Duuro

Today, Destiny 2 is better than it was 3 months ago and from what the guys who saw the September update have been saying, it will become even better in next 3 months so fingers crossed?

spicelicka2534d ago

Only if you're willing to pay money for it. If the game is better because of paid DLC then what's point.

kraideral2533d ago

Well, you are right, but still the best stuff that came to Destiny 2 with this DLC was available to all the players not just the ones who bought the DLC, things like Go Fast update and the rest of the improvements

spicelicka2533d ago

That's true too, but at the same time they lock content behind the DLC effectively taking away things vanilla owners have already paid for. I'm a slow player and even though I rarely play destiny 2 I like to hop on once in a while. Every time I get back to this game I realize I've been pushed behind. I can't even play the damn raids because the grinding is so damn high.

Destiny 2: Warmind DLC Review - Mars Attacks | A 90s Kid

Cool, a dude with antlers.

FPS_D3TH2541d ago

Said the dude with a pan for body armor

PUBG2541d ago

Well what are the antlers supposed to be useful for? Are you supposed to bend over and start running at an enemy?

Destiny 2: Warmind Review: Everything Old is New(ish) Again | Ars Technica

Destiny 2’s Warmind expansion ought to look familiar. It’s the solid follow-up to a thoroughly disappointing first expansion—just as House of Wolves was to The Dark Below for the first Destiny. It also brings players back to Mars, another original Destiny location, and revives the story of the titular Warmind A.I. that has run in the series’ background for years
