Since I got the switch I abandoned my N3Ds

Why abandon the system? The 3DS has a huge backlog of games that are still enjoyable to this day, you can enjoy both at the same time.

The only problem that i have with the 3DS is its low resolution screen. That had kept me from enjoy its games to the fullest. Beside that, the 3DS is awesome.
