Jakejames Lugo of The Koalition writes: The Shantae series has been around since 2002, but hasn’t gotten as much attention as it should. Not many people know how good the series has been since its first release on the Game Boy Color. Shantae Half-Genie Hero is latest and best entry of the series to date, which was originally released in 2016 for the PlayStation 4, PS Vita, and the Wii U. The game has now been ported to the Nintendo Switch with a new Ultimate Edition that includes all of the downloadable content previously available for the other consoles. Is it worth playing on the Switch with the new content all in one big package? Hands down yes, it really is.
With River City Girls 2 arriving next week, it's time to look at the company's best!
Four great games are on the way for Xbox Live Gold members this month.
Batman: The Enemy Within – The Complete Season.
Shantae: Half-Genie Hero.
Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2.
Sonic Generations.
I'm a huge Shantae fan, but this selection is weak. It's official, MS is definitely skimping on GWG in favor of GP.
I mean...I guess LoS 2 is cool.
Finished Batman TEW a few months ago. It was the second worst TT game I've played. Really didn't enjoy it.
I hope those that do play it get more enjoyment out of it than I did.
As a non Xbox gamer, why are the free games availability scattered around.
I mean Batman is available the whole month
Castlevania is available March to the 15th
Shantae is available starting March 16th
Sonic is available the 16th-31st.
Has always been like this?
It only makes sense that as more games are added to Xbox Game Pass some are taken away. Find out what's leaving the subscription service this September.

Don’t forget it also released on PC & Xbox One in 2016.
