I have that Shadow of the Colossus emotions whenever I beat a major boss in this game.

The combat can really pass as a AAA fighting game online.

Horizon: Zero Dawn is my current game of the generation, but after playing God of War for around 10-15 hours I think this may change.

Unfortunately it has a very slim chance of hitting 96 it’s keeping the 95 I would worry about because it’s hanging by a thread

I wouldn't say it's hanging by a thread. Out of 97 reviews on Metacritic, only about 42 of those reviews gave a score lower than 95. The lowest score being 80. About 55 of those reviews have a score of 95 and above, with 34 reviews scoring the game at 100.

So, the point is that the metascore is unlikely to drop below 95 unless we get a large number of reviews that are scoring the game below 60 - which I don't think is going to happen. The opposite is more likely now that the game has released, we'll see more 10/10 scores - or at least more scores above it's current 95 average; which will have the net effect of raising the metascore.

I’m hoping but you have to remember they have that bullshit super secret weighting system and has it stands now on the all time list it’s only I think 8 or 9 spots from dropping to 94 and edges 8 review hasn’t been added yet but when it is it will pull it down a few spots. We also have the website gamecritics that is horrible clickbait still to come which will surely be a 6.5 or 7 if we’re lucky

I cant believe the games this year. Spiderman and then Red Dead 2...Glad I have some time to appreciate GOW. About 10 hours in and I can't believe how well the combat change was pulled off. Just insane to strike gold this way.

It's definitely one of the best games I have ever played. I can't stop playing it but force myself to because it's one of those games that you don't want to end. I haven't felt like this since the first time I played Uncharted 2.
