Bioware Studio Update from Casey Hudson

Humans! It’s going to be an exciting year. There’s so much going on that I wanted to set up a blog where I can share some thoughts and news with you directly.

The Mass Effect down fall started with Mass Effect 3 & Casey Hudson & he got fired for it but they bring him back lol

Well, Star War Battlefront 2 & Mass Effect Andromeda may well be the best things to happen to EA in years.....they finally may be listening.

I like how he kept EA's name out of it.. smart guy! Sadly though that's the bottom line, it's EA running the show. Battlefront 2 arguably feels distinctively DICE yet look how that turned out, all the hard work from the developers completely undone by greed and the worst progression system I've experienced in a modern online multiplayer game.

That’s awesome. I didn’t know Casey Hudson was back at bioware. There odds of survival just went up a few notches. I liked him and I like these developer blogs. I hope these get posted here more often.

It’s EA. You’re not reading that wrong regardless of what it says lol. There will be dlc galore. They are not giving up billions of dollars because a relative few people are pissed. Their PR might tell you that but that’s not what’s happening. They didn’t dent EA’s armor with the Star Wars controversy.

The fact the first word of his statement is "Humans!" Tells me how forced this is. His studio he worked at previously also had nothing to do with Andromeda outside of name. Now hes working at the restructred Bioware up in Montreal instead of Austin, who are working on Anthem. I cant tell what hes even supposed to be working on

Lol the human thing was corny but it’s just an intro. I have had my distaste for bioware in the recent years and I’m glad this team had no part in andromeda. It makes me that much more interested in the blogs. He’s the general manager now he’s just saying “we at bioware”.

My favorite thing about this new intro blog, no politics. Not a drop to be found on the entire page. No activism in sight just real talk. Hey I’m back and I’m making a game, I started a blog to update you on studio stuff directly. Alright, respect. He was a part of bioware when it was great and there is the possibility of his vision leading them in a better direction. A tried and true direction opposed the racist political crap involved with andromeda. #MakeItAboutGamesAgain

If the 2 doctors came back I'd be far more optimistic then with Casey's return. I honestly have not replayed ME3 even with the MEHEM patch just because of starchild and yes so it was Mack but Casey signed off on whatever LSD inducing cluster that was. Also their defence that it was art was meh at the time as well, a bad end was a bad end and if Anthem copies Destiny like its looking like then that is sadly going to be another bad end.
