MX vs ATV All Out is a technically sound, fun little racing game that does its name's legacy proud, although it certainly feels a little too rooted in the past.
TSA writes: MX vs ATV All Out is an extreme-sports race that mixes a number of different vehicle classes into one hectic mess of tricks, mud, races and crashes. The title originally released in 2018 to mostly mixed and negative reviews, but has Rainbow Studios turned the title around in it’s Nintendo Switch port?
TGG says: "MX vs. ATV All Out can be fun but I’m not sure anyone should be racing out to buy it. It doesn’t look great and it misfires at times when it comes to load times, framerate, and AI difficulty."
WTMG's Leo Faria: "Considering previous reviews for other platforms, I was expecting for MX vs. ATV All Out to be way worse than what it ended up being. It’s by no means a great game, as it’s quite boring and performs poorly. However, I still managed to have my fair share of fun with it, mostly by wasting my time looking for collectibles in its interesting open world mode. It’s still a disappointment, nonetheless. The Switch still doesn’t have a lot of realistic racing titles and MX vs. ATV All Out could have easily managed to satiate a niche in its library. I guess I’ll have to keep on waiting, as this is not exactly an easy recommendation."
