Spider-Man PS4 Developers Won't Rule Out Venom

Could Venom feature in Insomniac and Marvel's upcoming Spider-Man PS4 exclusive video game? It's certainly looking that way.

Is part of the MCU. Tom Holland will appear as Peter Parker in Venom. Is up to Marvel Studio to decide how this Venom movie going to fit in the future Spider-Man movie.

Its not part of the MCU, its deemed as the first film in the SMU (sony marvel universe).

Now thats not to say that Tom holland wont show up, however itll be seperate from the MCU

You probably should have used Venom: Lethal Protector as validation for a solo Venom movie.

This movie isn't featuring Agent Venom. It's about Eddie Brock Venom. Lethal Protector was a solo Brock series about Venom being an anti-hero.

Having said that, it is a bit ridiculous they are making a solo Venom origin story with no Spider-Man.

A solo Venom origin movie that does not feature Spider-Man is a bad idea whether it's in the MCU or not.

You've also got to save some big enemies for the inevitable sequel, so I wouldn't be shocked if he wasn't in the game.

While I do think Venom is an awesome character, I feel it’s time other characters get time to shine. It’s like everytime you mention Spider man you gotta mention Venom. Similar to Batman/Joker. Characters are only B list because they don’t get the exposure and respect. Variety is the spice of life.

But at the same time, you can't exactly have a batman story without Joker. Not saying it can't be done, Dark Knight Rises is prime example of it being done properly.

But the reason Joker is synonymous with Batman because they are each other's other half. Joker is chaos to batman order.

Venom, in my eyes, is Spiderman's number 1 nemesis. Imagining him fighting Spiderman on the PS4 Pro. Sh** would be so friggin epic. But a part of me feels him and Carnage can be saved for a sequel.

While I see where you are coming from, I believe some people associate the two because of their history.

The symbiotic not only gained abilities from attaching to parker but the strength of Venom is proportionate to the hatred the host has for parker/Spiderman because Spiderman rejected the symbiotic.

There aren't many villians who can get close to Spiderman the way Venom. Can mainly from him being immune to Spiderman Spidey sense.

And while I agree Doc Oc is one of the best, buy including Venom either as an Easter egg/teaser for a sequel they are allowing a great choice of villians/anti heroes.
They have Venom, carnage, anti Venom, agent Venom, toxin, scream and hybrid, obvious. Black suit Spidey, lethal predator.

I can agree with that. Green Goblin being at the forefront but Venom is just such a COOL VILLIAN. It's why he separated and became his own standalone anti-hero. Carnage is just as cool in this aspect. Green Goblin is bleh
