The PC version’s quality depends on how good your PC is. Steam has proven that most PC gamers don’t have that great of hardware anyways.

Cute? Sure ha ha whatever. MSI M7 with Dual Rog Strix GTX 1080tis, 64GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR4 clocked at 4Ghz, and my water cooled I7 humming at 4.8. Not the best but it gets the job done. I can boost it to 5.2 if need be but that hasn't happened yet. Too many games still support SLI (Far Cry 5 just came out) and those that do not can often be tweaked to do so. You too would need a larger case than the one in your pic if you were running 5 local drives (not including Optane Raid) and a Mdrive.

Definitely checkerboard 4K and probably can't maintain 60fps in 4K probably because of the cpu

Um, no. That's not how it works. If a game CAN hit 60, but needs to scale back the resolution to hit it, then it's limited by the gpu, not the cpu.

Base ps4 has the slowest cpu at 1.6ghz and still maintains 60fps with no issues, which would mean the 2.1ghz pro or 2.3ghz x1x would have no issue either.

Yah I noticed no difference in terms of sharpness like usual. The pro did have blurred textures in places though.

Tried the game out after the update and as usually since it’s a demanding game the fan becomes so loud I can’t even begin to enjoy the game. It’s ridiculous how loud the fan gets.

Who wants to mess with a PC? I have them, but don't game on them. I am not spending $2000 dollars on something that I am going to have to have to mess with all the time. I let the developers optimize the games for the game I am playing on X1X, many developers give X1X Graphics and Frame Rate options. Look PC is always going to be ahead, because the tech is evolving all of the time.

Just Picked up Far Cry 5, and it looks fantastic on my 65" 4K HDR TV, the frame rate is smooth too. I need a Switch though. I am Missing Nintendo, since Wii U is dead.

This game already looks great on the standard PS4 and i played on the Pro and look even better and i have it for my X also.Frankly the game is not blurry in any version well maybe on the Switch,just stop saying the game is blurry on the Pro because it didn't look like that to me when playing.

Impressive results on both with their shitty CPU! In the end, I never stopped and watched details in this game neither on Pro nor on PC. Its about running and shooting. But anyway nice comparison how XOX gets more job done for more money spend on it. It would be shame, if it isnt better than Pro!

Currently replaying Doom on my Pro and it looks utterly fantastic, I felt it looked great on my old PS4 though.

While it does look better on the XB1X, the fact is, unless you are comparing them side by side it is irrelevant, the game still looks incredible on PS4 Pro too.

The question box gamers need to ask themselves is this, over the last 5 years, did a better version of a given game existing on PS4, make them enjoy their version on XB1 any less?

That's me and no doubt the X is superior but without a side by side comparison it's a wash because Doom looks amazing on the Pro! As does AC Origins, Shadow of War and Far Cry 5! Horizon, Uncharted 4, Lost Legacy and soon to be GOW look better than any game on any system!

I did exactly the same, it does look incredible. I always found I run out of steam when I reach the levels where you enter hell, I really don't care for those levels at all. Overall though, a pretty stellar game.

the visual clarity is a lot better on the xbox x judging by them pictures, but its still impressive what they have done with both consoles.
