Karan from Gaming Purists writes- "We’ve been playing games for as long as we’ve been alive, and now that we’re much older, it’s unlikely we’ll ever quit. It’s a habit that has stuck with us, despite increasing age and various pressures. We have some of our fondest memories attached to the medium, as we have to others (like books or movies) and it’ll always be a part of our lives.
With that said, games tend to really piss us off from time and time. Occasionally we’ll come across some design decision/ level/ section or the other that genuinely makes playing the game feel like a ‘waste of time’ as most people often claim. Usually games inspire us creatively, but occasionally they make us completely scratch our heads in a state of baffled confusion. Look, making games is hard. It’s an incredibly complicated endeavor that requires juggling a lot of balls in the air. Eventually, of course a few are dropped here and there."
"Last Surprise" and "Mass Destruction" are two of the best Persona battle themes, no doubt.
The PlayStation 3 is Sony’s most interesting home console ever, but what’s most interesting of all is trying to nail down the very best games on a console with hundreds of incredible games. Let’s give it a shot.
Sly Thieves in Time
Stay the Party
Portal 2
Dj Hero
Demon’s Souls
God of war Ascension
I've noticed a recent nostalgia for the PS3 and I don't get it for me it's been my least favourite generation to date and I've been gaming since the NES I just feel like the ambition of the developers outweighed the capabilities of the consoles so I remember lots of games running in the lower end of 20fps range and I remember for the first time ever actually disliking the duelshock 3 and it's curved triggers
Sure there were some standouts and great games but that's the only gen I switched entirely to PC gaming
Take a step back through time and discover the history of the legendary Ninja Gaiden series!
Love the NES trilogy! Great gameplay, design, story, cinematics, characters, music! Total package.
The original NES game is still.one of the hardest games I've almost beaten in my life I believe I was on the second final boss using original hardware and carts no save states but I could never finish it
Man, I finally braved trying Master Ninja in Ninja Gaiden 2 Black and… man, I suck, lol. I really want to try for the platinum because I love the game so much, but yeesh…
I remember Ninja Gaiden Black and how awesome the hype and support was around for that. The changes from the base game and the world rankings we could check out in the menus. Played through the OG game once and Black at least twice.
Never played the original 2D games but I'm excited to go through 2 Black soon.
I was there as a young boy playing the first Ninja Gaiden in The arcade. It was awesome for the time! I’ve played every one skins and on every one of those systems. And here I am, as a 50 year old man giddy with joy playing through the most recent release, with more on the way! Heck yeah it’s a great series!
