Rangi (PSVR) - Review | SquareXO

Rob Pitt writes: Everyone knows I love a good puzzle (just look at how many puzzle games I have reviewed so far!) and I’m also known for loving my PSVR. So, along came Rangi – a puzzle game built in VR – sounds like a match made in heaven! From developer Funsoft and publisher Digigo, Rangi started life as a mobile VR game via the Samsung Gear VR – from there it was upgraded and ported over to the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive and finally, it came to us here on PSVR. I’m always a little wary about games which originated as a mobile game as they can sometimes be lacking in features or too overly simple – I’m glad to say that with Rangi, I was pleasantly surprised and enjoyed every minute I played.

Nice. Any rating over an eight for PlayStation VR is probably worth looking into. [Heh, that was kind of a good, unintentional pun. 😏]

:) - yeah, I really enjoyed it - the parts where you have to be quick and act fast kinda helped break up the puzzles but also got in the way as I wanted more puzzles! It's really calm and relaxing though (when doing the puzzles) and it looks great in VR.

Whether you own a PS5 or PS4, are a PS VR2 or PS VR or TV-only gamer, want to craft your own levels or just sit back and enjoy some action-platforming and puzzle-strategizing, this year May 16 is going to mean more than just “National Piercing Day.”

finally!, being waiting for this game since its announcement some years ago, so many objects on screen using physics running at 60 fps is always mesmerizing to see.

Played the demo on PSVR2 - it's trippy as hell!

Awesome. I had this on my PS wishlist and was going to buy it Day 1. Seen as I have Extra, now I don't need to!
PSVR2 support too.

Platformers are not really my thing, but I guess I can try it out on PlusExtra. In VR2 to boot.
