We love the Nintendo Switch. We just wish we didn't have to say a prayer every time we turn it on.
CCG writes - "Overall, I like the concept behind this title. Technically, it's playable enough on the Switch despite some control issues, and the PC port is quite playable after a simple settings tweak. Morally, aside from some references to weapons and religious practices of other cultures, this is a good game for almost any age and is even educational. If you want a relaxed game with a history focus and can tolerate some annoying controls on the Switch, the Switch port (and PC with some stability tweaks) of Treasure Hunter Simulator is recommended."
The Switch 2 might be the fastest selling console of all time. But Jump Dash Roll argues that the new hardware has some serious caveats to consider before buying.
Pretty much just clickbait opinion. IMO, Switch 2 is everything I loved about Switch, but much more refined and perfected. As someone with a huge library of physical Switch 1 games, I’m stoked with the enhanced performance on my existing games, and very excited for the future once devs start optimizing engines for the platform. Game Chat is excellent, the controllers are excellent. Anyways, I love it so far.
Blah Blah Blah
Switch 2 is basically a more powerful Switch and that's what everyone had been asking for. They know what they're getting into.
Had mine for a couple of days and I'm having a blast with both Switch 2 and 1 games.
Switch 2 is what I wanted a more powerful switch im happy with it.
Do I wish it was oled sure does it bother me not much
Wake up and smell the plastic. The sky isn't falling here, your expectations just weren't met. You expected Nintendo to not play it safe with their (best-selling) console, as they have since after the Gamecube.
Thankfully, in gaming, not everything has to be "technically accomplished" or completely different to prove its existence to bring inspiration to the table. Consoles are remembered by their software and the Switch 2 just got here.
The idea that the focus on third party is bad is really dumb. They only have really 3 launch titles and one of the issues with the switch was its inability to run a lot of the biggest games. They have addressed both of those issues by highlighting third party support.
RAIDOU Remastered: The Mystery of the Soulless Army revamps its combat, adds voice acting, and brings this forgotten Atlus RPG back to life.
Sony introduced cloud saves to consoles in March 2011, exactly seven years ago and Microsoft quickly followed suit
Why dafuq is such a concept still foreign to Nintendo? They don’t even allow you to transfer Switch saves to external devices.
I wish they would just use cloud saves.
Maybe I'm uninformed in saying this but perhaps the cartridge could at least have a saving component. I feel like the save files aren't big. Didn't cartridges save games back in the snes days ? Maybe I'm backward, or maybe Nintendo is with their implementations.
There's a good chance cloud saving is a coming with the paid online subscription, or in the very least it should be part of the package.
The save data will always be at risk until they let us save them on External Hard Drives (something Sony lets us do)
Can't believe the fuckin Switch is similar to the Wii U in how our saves are permanently stuck on the original console for keeps. Gaylord fockor consoles. I really liked how Reggie disrespected our intelligence by saying the fact it's a mobile console hybrid is why saves can't be backed up. That nature of the console has nothing to do with why saves can't be backed up whatsoever. Facts.
