Wait....the dude who played Bishop in the Alien franchise is going to be in Detroit? Sounds right up his alley.

JKSimmons2622d ago

Agreed. Feels like a match made in heaven.

JKSimmons2622d ago

Awesome! Loved him in Aliens!

JKSimmons2621d ago

Would be crazy if he's not playing an android Detroit. Haha.

chrcharcor22622d ago

Man, those are both excellent actors. I seriously can't wait for this game.

JKSimmons2621d ago (Edited 2621d ago )

Just hope it lives up to the hype. Great cast, but Quantic Dream's track record is hit and miss.

bluefox7552620d ago

They had one average game, and 2 great games. I'd hardly call that "hit and miss".

SuperSonic912620d ago

Just those game play trailers alone are worth the price. I have never seen a game so intense!

P_Bomb2620d ago (Edited 2620d ago )

Clancy Brown’s great! Shawshank of course, lotsa turns in comic book stuff like animated Lex Luthor, guest spots on The Flash and Daredevil/Punisher, Surtur in Thor Ragnarok.

Cortex in Crash, Hades in GOW3, list goes on. Good stuff.

Hardiman2621d ago

Love Lance's work from Aliens to Pumpkinhead to Near Dark to Powder and even Hard Target! So excited to see he's in Detroit!

...this has got to be a joke, the thing looks like it was put together by me when comparing it to something from Boston Dynamics from 20 years ago. They might make good Halloween decorations though as they move more like an animatronic from Spirit Halloween

Is N4G a place to promote a conman now?

Babadook7205d ago (Edited 205d ago )

I disagree. BD is pretty scripted. This is using AI to act. Not the same thing. If you don't like Elon what about Figure 01, 02? Same general concept.

MrDead205d ago

I'm talking about the "robots" ability to do anything, Boston Dynamics have proof of concept and what they build does what they say, the Musk just has an extremely curated video of robots shuffling around like a 90yo. I can see why this presentation tanked Teslas stock price by $60billion.

The dumbass even thought his bus was a good idea, a vehicle that's meant to be mass transit has no ground clearance and they boxed the wheels in making it turn poorly or wasting massive amounts of space on the interior.

Babadook7205d ago

I think it's ahead of Boston dynamics in terms of being a product. Like I said prescripted is not really the same thing as thats not really particularly useful, at least in the human form.

Grilla205d ago

AI? Those bots were controlled by ppl. It’s vaporware

cartoonx1205d ago

AI is also pre-scripted, just more advance. there is a reason you keep getting new version of chat GPT. trained more, better data, algo improved.
It's just a fancier way of pre-scripted. its still limited to what is trained on, how its train, and generative capabilites are limited to how its written.

Detroit: Become Human Has Sold Over 10 Million Copies

Detroit: Become Human has officially sold over 10 million copies, making it the second most popular choice-and-consequence game after The Witcher 3, which sold over 50 million copies.

"making it the second most popular choice-and-consequence game after The Witcher 3"

Stupidest line I have heard in a long time from a gaming article.

Amplitude209d ago

I actually audibly laughed out loud

VenomUK209d ago

I enjoy all genres of video games including action adventures, RPGs, beat ‘em ups, FPS and choice and consequence games.

mkis007209d ago

What a weird way to categorize 2 unrelated games.

VenomUK209d ago (Edited 209d ago )

Exactly! Maybe they got ChatGPT to help them with their homework?

JEECE209d ago

Cool. Great sales for a game of this style.

90sGamingWasBetter209d ago

One of my favourites from last gen.
