It looks like they just grabbed the Switch screen shots and blurred it.

Neonridr2625d ago

why are we comparing the Switch to the PS4 Pro?

corroios2624d ago

because some still think that its the same market....

Prince_TFK2624d ago

It is the same gaming market, just aim at different audience.

Neonridr2624d ago (Edited 2624d ago )

@Kun_ADR - wouldn't the base PS4/XB1 and Switch be better off comparing to each other and leaving the Xbox One X and PS4 Pro to be compared separately?

Silly gameAr2624d ago

Because articles on N4G need to be more nonsensical and pointless then they've already been.

ILostMyMind2624d ago (Edited 2624d ago )

Because the game graphics are so bad that this comparison is even valid, like PUBG on XBX and Android.

Neonridr2624d ago

pretty sure it's called an art style. What, should a game like this have opted for photo-realistic graphics or something?

Gameseeker_Frampt2624d ago

Because the PS4 Pro was released in 2016 and the Switch was released in 2017. You know things are bad in technology when you need something to be compared to a device that came out 4 years earlier.

Neonridr2624d ago

that doesn't matter when they were released. The Switch was never released to compete with the Pro or One X. Great that those systems are better, the Switch is like 1/20th the size too. Pretty amazing what the Switch can do when you consider things like that.

2624d ago
Gameseeker_Frampt2623d ago (Edited 2623d ago )

Both of you don't like them being compared yet when a sales report comes out that Switch is in the top spot you cannot shut up about it. You cannot have it both ways. If they are not comparable, then each systems sales are irrelevant to each other. If you want to compare sales, then you have to accept that everything else is open for comparison.

@DJK1NG_Gaming
Everyone knows you are bad at numbers but 10x the size?! Really? You think that the PS4 Pro is the size of 10 Switch/Dock combos? You probably should get your eyes checked.

Neonridr2621d ago (Edited 2621d ago )

@Gameseeker - what does the dock have anything to do with the system. You do realize that the dock has no tech inside of it right? The only thing the dock does is allow the switch to run at a higher clockspeed because of the dedicated power being supplied to it. It is literally an HDMI passthrough and that is all. Take the controllers off the sides of the system and just take the center part that is the screen. THAT is the Switch console. So how many of those put together before you get to the size of a Pro or One X? 10 is actually too small, it's way more than that.

As for sales, I don't know what that has anything to do with this discussion. We are literally saying that the Switch was never designed to compete with mid-gen refreshes from the other two companies.

Gameseeker_Frampt2621d ago (Edited 2621d ago )

@Neonridr

You're saying that the item that Nintendo sells for $89.99 is just a piece of plastic that doesn't do anything? Some defense there.
It is applicable here in the size comparison since the article compared a DOCKED Switch to a PS4 Pro.

http://n4g.com/news/2146340...

Here is an article comparing the graphics of a Vita vs PS4 Pro that you should take a look at. It is amusing that there when people called the comparison stupid you defended the premise of the article with a "why is this stupid." Could you possibly be a bigger hypocrite?

God stop bashing the Switch. Even many of the games on there look fucking amazing, visually. Stop saying they look like "Crap" and stop being stupid. It's the same market. It's obviously not going to look as good as some games on the other systems. Also it doesn't matter if its been released in 2017, and weaker. What the fuck kind of argument is that?

God, N4G is full of ignorantly biased idiots.

Come on regardless the switch is a mini marvel.

NotoriousWhiz2624d ago

That would be ant man.

Mungamingzone2624d ago

It looks the same to me ! I don't see the difference !

MrVux0002624d ago (Edited 2624d ago )

The difference is there (visually), but i would not call it a "huge" difference. However, the performance can be a big game-changer for some people.
